I learnt how to carry my self in a professional manner, self awareness, it boosted my self confidence and even taught me to articulate myself in various settings. Skills that do not come with technical qualifications. Furthermore, I now understand that in every company there are protocols to observe and follow.



I now have an appreciation for understand the work-culture to improve performance and productivity. In daily operations I am aware of the role I play as an individual supporting the core business, thus remaining an asset to my employer.



Last but not least, Yabantu pilot program has not ended in just training and left its students, but it also provided opportunities to the students to put into practice what we’ve learned and having mentors who guide and direct us.
